Alternative Break Experiences

Here is where you will find our experiences for the 2024-2025 school year. We are hard at work planning for these, so while there are a couple open, we will have many more! So keep a lookout for additional experiences. Join our email list or follow us on Instagram for the latest updates! We offer week-long and weekend experiences.

Weekend experiences provide breakers the opportunity to serve community partners within a 3-hour radius from East Lansing. Weekend experiences offer the same rewarding experience as a spring or winter break trip, but with a shorter time commitment (Saturday early AM to Sunday early evening) and smaller program fee of $50. This fee includes meals, housing, transportation and a T-shirt.

Week Long 
Experiences 

Week-long experiences provide breakers the opportunity to serve with national and international partners, as well as strengthen the connections and bonds between Spartans. These experiences that take place during winter and spring breaks are between 7-9 days in length and require a $400 program fee. The fee includes meals, housing, transportation and a T-shirt.
