Spend your weekend supporting an organization that provides a safe environment and resources for survivors and works to prevent abuse!
About the Community Partner:
This nonprofit organization has been dedicated to empowering survivors and creating a culture of safety and respect in the community since 1977. It is the sole provider of emergency shelter and services to end domestic and sexual violence in the area. The organization offers a comprehensive range of services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. These services include a 24-hour crisis helpline, emergency shelter, advocacy, counseling, support groups, court support, housing assistance, and youth advocacy. Additionally, the organization engages in prevention of education programs and community awareness initiatives to address and prevent abuse.
Support the organization through hands-on projects at the shelter and Resale store. Projects may include painting, maintenance, cleaning, organizing, or other facility improvement tasks that help ensure safe, welcoming spaces for survivors of abuse. Volunteers may also assist with projects at the Resale store, which provides survivors with access to needed items and generates unrestricted funding for the organization
Restoring Neighborhoods & Community

Spend your weekend working alongside community members to transform neglected spaces into vibrant community spaces.

Decades of systemic disinvestment and blight have left many neighborhoods in this area struggling to maintain safe, vibrant community spaces. Working directly alongside local residents and grassroots leaders, this organization empowers volunteer teams to clear vacant lots, repair community structures, and cultivate urban gardens to physically revitalize historic neighborhoods and foster lasting community connection.

Join us at camp for a weekend of solving puzzles, mysteries, and even a staged camp crime!
About the Community Partner:
Spend your weekend volunteering with individuals with disabilities in an inclusive outdoor environment! You will enjoy playing games, experiencing nature, and making friends with adults with all levels of developmental/physical disabilities. You will spend your days engaging campers in their activities, including, but not limited to riding horses, playing outside, participating in group games, going on nature hikes, campfire cooking, and much more! You may also spend some time setting up or tearing down activities and assisting in the kitchen. If you want to make a difference in the lives of those with disabilities, this is the place for you!
