Founded to combat urban decay and foster community renewal, this organization operates in one of the most economically challenged areas of the city. It engages volunteers in projects that restore homes, support local families, enhance public spaces, and improve environmental health. The mission is to provide long-term, sustainable support to neighborhoods by uniting volunteers with local leaders and residents.

Founded to break down the financial barriers that limit youth access to sports, this national organization is a food bank-style model, only for sports equipment. With collecting, taking inventory, and redistributing donated gear, their mission is to fill the warehouse so every kid can suit up and play, free of charge.

It is the sole provider of emergency shelter and services to end domestic and sexual violence in the area. These services include a 24-hour crisis helpline, emergency shelter, advocacy, counseling, support groups, court support, housing assistance, and youth advocacy. Additionally, the organization engages in prevention education programs and community awareness initiatives to address and prevent abuse.
