Gabriella Alberganti, Vice President of External Communications

Hi everyone! My name is Gabby and I’m VP external. I’m a senior majoring in Nutritional Sciences and Human Biology. I’ve been a site leader on multiple weekend experiences and I loved learning about the different communities in our world and their cultures. ASB has opened up so many opportunities for me to grow individually as well with others. I’m really excited to get more people from the MSU community involved and show them what ASB is all about!

Kylie Raynor, Site Leader Chair

My name is Kylie Raynor and I am a junior studying Human Biology on the Pre-Med Track with a minor in Entrepreneurship! I’ve been on multiple weekend experiences and I loved getting to meet new people within the volunteer group and in the communities we served. Not only was the experience informative and fun, but I was also able to obtain a more well-rounded perspective of many communities and the society we live in. I’m extend to bond with the E-board and take on a larger role in community wellness/improvement, and really make some cool things happens this year as Site Leader Chair!

Saad Zaeem, Accounting Chair

I’m Saad Zaeem, a sophomore at Michigan State University majoring in Electrical Engineering with Honors, though I’m classified as a junior by credits. I’m expected to graduate in Spring of 2026. I’m actively involved with Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity and serve as the Accounting Chair for Alternative Spartan Breaks. I’m also honored to have received the Global career Development Certificate from MSU. I’m excited about the opportunities this year holds and am looking forward to further growth in my academic and professional journey.

Julia Guedes-Alonso, Events Chair

Hello! My name is Julia and I am a Junior studying advertising management. I have been on the “Don’t Wake Mama Bear” weekend experience 2 times as well as the weeklong “Gain Empathy” experience. I really enjoyed being able to work with different people and getting to know the communities we were helping. It’s really fun being able to volunteer with and get to know like-minded people. I am looming forward to meeting new people this year and to continue making meaningful connections through ASB.

Karthick Prem Satheesh Kumar, Vice President of Education

Hello! My name is Karthick and I will be a 3rd year this fall studying neuroscience. I loved my spring break experience so much that it made me interested in ASB’s efforts and I pursed the Vice President of Education role for ASB.

Sam Stevens, Vice President of Service

Hi! My name is Sam, I’m a Junior majoring in Genomics and Molecular Genetics & Human Biology. I’m on the Pre-PA track and I will be serving as the Vice President of Service for ASB. I am excited to plan and send out new trips!

Cordelia Kraus, Outreach Chair

Hi, my name’s Cordelia Kraus. I’m a physiology major on the pre-med track going into my Junior year. I serve on the outreach chair position for ASB. I’ve participated in the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault weekend trip in Saginaw, MI. The experience opened me up to making new friends as well as taught me the value in empowering and helping survivors. I’m excited to get more people involved this year and help plan a variety of volunteering trips!

Mercedes Reuschel, Breaker Chair

Hi! My name is Mercedes and my major is human biology with minors in pharmacology and toxicology and health promotion on the pre-PA track. I am site leader chair. I have been on two experiences, one as a participant for fighting poverty weekend and the other as a site leader for the Fostering Youth and Development Through Play Centered Therapy week long. I loved both of these experiences as I was able to contribute to these communities in meaningful ways and able to meet amazing people. I’m very excited to educate site leaders and give them the tools to get the most out of their experiences.

Andrew Quinn, Vice President of Finance

My name is Andrew Quinn and I am a biochemistry major with a minor in pharmacology and toxicology. I am a senior graduation in the spring of 2025. I went on a spring break trip called “Helping Families in Need Reach Their Full Potential” as a site leader. I am excited to get more involved with the organization and give MSU students a chance to volunteer and help others.

Anna Dunnebacke, Vice President of Internal Communications

Hi! My name is Anna and I am a senior with a double major in Forestry and Fisheries & Wildlife. I love spending time outside, traveling, hanging out with friends, and learning about forest ecology and conservation! I’ve climbed the ladder in ASB from participant to site leader to now VP of internal communications, and I’m really excited to play a part in offering the same amazing experiences I had to others! I’ve made lots of friends through this program, and started to explore a passion I never thought I would have the opportunity to. There’s an experience for everyone here, and we hope you join us!

Erin Kanaar, Breaker Chair

Hi, my name is Erin! I am a sophomore public policy major and a breaker chair. I have been on the Combatting Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, and Fighting Poverty experiences. I loved these experiences because they allowed me to make friends that I may not have met otherwise while making a positive difference.

Audrey Kind, Logistics Chair

I am a second year studying electrical engineering and I will be the Logistics chair for ASB! During the Combatting Domestic Violence experience I loved meeting new people. I am super excited to continue to help out the community, meet more people, and hopefully spread the word about ASB to more people!
