ASB Impact Scholarship

6-9 Month Reflection Award  

The ASB Impact Scholarship is awarded to support students who are taking the next step in leadership and service after their Alternative Spartan Breaks (ASB) experience. Whether you’re becoming an ASB Team Leader, or joining the ASB Executive Board, this scholarship helps sustain your impact.

 

Six to nine months after returning from their experience, applicants must submit a reflection detailing how their ASB experience influenced their academic, personal, and professional growth. Chosen recipients will receive a $400 award to further support their continued engagement with ASB in leadership positions. 

Application Requirements: 

  • Submit a 500-word reflection or a creative project (video, blog, podcast, etc.) demonstrating how your ASB experience shaped your perspectives and actions. 

  • Highlight any community engagement or advocacy efforts you have pursued since returning from your experience. 

  • Provide specific examples of skills, insights, or changes in perspective gained through ASB. 

  • Deadline: TBA

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis until all available funds are awarded. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as funding is limited.​​
