Service Description:
Tucked inside one of the most beautiful mountain ranges east of the Mississippi, the Cumberland Trail is a secret that will not be kept well for long. As an ASB and Cumberland Trail Conference (CTC) volunteer, you join community members, Americorps volunteers and Park Rangers in working up a sweat while in a stunningly beautiful mountain range. At the end of the week, you’ve done your part and got enough dirt on your clothes to make sure that future generations can learn the importance of enjoying and respecting nature’s power and beauty.

Service Description: Participants’ work in El Yunque will be dedicated to clearing trails, interacting with other rain forest employees, and cleaning up this breath-taking forest. In past years, participants have worked on various restoration projects, trail building, and environmental cleanup, all in efforts to preserve the El Yunque Caribbean National Rainforest.
